In the case of Indexing plungers steel with status sensor, a sensor integrated into the handle detects the condition of the pin. The sensor is connected to the machine control via a three-wire PVC cable. The condition (locked or pulled) can be accurately detected, enabling an actuation-dependent process control. Length, height, and position of movable components can thus be adjusted even more precisely. The locking pins from norelem are available in steel or stainless steel versions.
For the positioning bushes with condition sensors, a variably adjustable sensor is located on the bush. On the models "for condition sensor," the user can mount a standard inductive sensor with a diameter of 3 mm. The inductive sensor detects the signal and transmits it to the machine control, which, for example, only starts the production cycle when all operating or locking elements are in the correct position. Electronic condition monitoring is used, among other things, in the packaging industry, especially for the format adjustment of packaging machines.
Stainless steel condition sensors with holders for quick-release fasteners are used to query the actuation status of quick-release fasteners.
